Food & Non-food Testing

Treatment with Paul involves identifying potential stressors to your body and eliminating them; thus, allowing your body to return to it’s natural, healthy self. These stressors could involve food sensitivities, microbial/gut imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, heavy metal or chemical toxicity, structural imbalances, hormonal and many other issues.

These patients have suffered from chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, allergies, depression, headaches, migraines, musculoskeletal issues, GI/gut issues, and many other ailments.

Paul uses Applied Kinesiology (AK) and PDTR Therapy (PDTR) as his main techniques but also uses a myriad of other approaches in treating various issues, unique to each patient. First-time patients are required to complete an in depth medical health history questionnaire prior to their appointment.

The goal of Paul is to help restore each patient back to their optimal potential and eliminate stressors.

We have developed a system to discern neurologic stressors to the patients’ body be they be microbial, foods, chemicals, metals, pro coagulants, etc., as well as hormone and nutrient imbalances , etc. By getting too these underlying stressors, we have been able to help people with many different conditions: fatigue, fibromyalgia, physical pain, gut imbalances, headaches, emotional & hormonal imbalances etc.

We use a combination of physical treatments, herbs, and nutrient re-balancing to help restore the bodies’ ability to heal itself. Often for a short time dietary restrictions are necessary. Our goal is to treat a person who has suffered for many years with many symptoms and has not received optimal improvement from the health care providers they have seen.

Symptoms associated with:

The Night shade food family (solanine)  of tomatoes, potatoes, aubergines/egg plant, peppers, paprika, goji berries etc can cause inflammation, joint pain and then restrict vitamin D production which then causes a build up of calcium in the joints and arteries. Eating of these foods can cause skin issues, IBS, mood swings and gut problems.

Oxalate acid foods ( leafy greens), fruits, vegetables, tea, chocolate, grains, nuts, seeds, green nutritional drinks etc, can be linked to many of the above symptoms including kidney stone build up.

Prostaglandins are hormone-like substances that affect several bodily functions, including inflammation, pain and uterine contractions – do you take aspirin or ibuprofen and it helps. This could indicate there is an prostaglandins imbalance of a nutritional imbalance or omega 3 caused by a food sensitivity, alcohol, chemical overload, microbes or a gut imbalance.

Heavy Metals & Chemicals – Common issues: rib strains, MS, numbness and tingling, drooling, anger outburst, unexplained depression, changing food sensitivity, metallic taste, cognitive dysfunction, vision/blurry, sensitive around EMF ( computers or anything electrical), fibromyalgia ( also linked to gut issues)

Gastrointestinal (GI)  – issues from an unbalanced gut or by an infection of bacteria, parasite, virus, mould, fungus or candida can lead to:

Chronic inflammation, leaky gut, liver/kidney issues, adrenal fatigue, brain fog, stress, diarrhoea, constipation, stomach pain, Crohn’s disease, acid reflux, burping, anal itching, celiac and mental health issues.

These can be caused by: medication/antibiotics as it can kills off good bacteria etc, bad cheap supplements, food sensitivity, sexual partners and their saliva, pets licking, caffeine, mould and inhaling their spores and contaminated water/food.

Anything Can cause Anything

How we treat using Applied Kinesiology:

  • Muscle testing: A practitioner tests the strength of a patient’s muscles while they hold a vial containing a potential irritant. If the patient’s muscles weaken, it indicates that they are sensitive to that substance.

  • Identifying irritants: AK testing can help identify irritants like bacteria, viruses, parasites, yeast, foods and heavy metals.

  • Choosing supplements: AK testing can help determine which supplements and dosages are best for a patient. We use Supreme Nutrition Products – these are of the highest standard with decades of research, the best quality on the market and I personally use.

  • Pinpointing food sensitivities: AK testing can help identify foods that may be problematic for a patient and recommend a dietary plan of usually 2 – 7weeks.

  • Fine-tuning with PDTR Therapy can help target specific muscles that need support.

How Long Are Appointments?

A 75 minute initial appointment is necessary so treatment may begin upon the first visit. Paul will spend a lot of time with you so you may begin to feel better after your first appointment. A follow-up visit is typically scheduled for 45 minutes the following week or two, but could be longer depending on your initial visit.

If you would like to book an appointment, please call us or send an email via our contact page.
